Contact the Congress, Senate and White House:
I don’t care if you are Democratic, Republican, Independent, Progressive, Liberal or Conservative. You have a right to your opinion and you should make sure that opinion is heard. It is your duty as a citizen of the United States. Expressing yourselves to your elected officials is also the only way to fight the big corporations and their lobbyists. In other words, citizens must be their own lobby.
However, it occurred to me that I needed to let you a know way to get in contact with those in DC. So now I am going to give you the easiest way possible to get your opinion on the record. I am linking this blog to congress.org.
Just put in your zip and it gives you your senators and representative. You type your message into an input field and just click on the submit button. And your message is sent for you. How simple is that?
Please let your voice be heard. It is easy to bitch, but not so easy to do something about it. Now you can bitch directly to the people in charge and, if there are enough of you, maybe something gets done.
Don’t be shy and don’t wait for others to start a petition. If you care about a subject, let your elected officials know. Believe me, it does a lot of good when it comes from voters and the Senators and Congresspeople do pay attention!
